Piezotech : The piezoelectric polymer company
PIEZOTECH’s process began in 1993 through a technology transfer of the "Bauer Shock Gauge" study with the French-German Research Institute of Saint-Louis, France (I.S.L.).
This technology was based on Dr. François Bauer’s patented processes. Dr. Bauer now serves as president of PIEZOTECH, SA in Hésingue, France.
PIEZOTECH now has the capability through a recent patent to synthesize new electrostrictive polymers that presents multifunction and capabilities never before achieved. Our recent advance in P(VF2-VF3-CFE) and P(VF2-VF3-CTFE) terpolymers offers a broad range of applications for actuators and capacitors.
PIEZOTECH offers sputtering and evaporation systems as well as a new capability for conductive polymer deposition on piezoelectric polymer. Solution cast films can be produced on request
